Midwest MEP Inc.specializes in the Mechanical – Electrical – Plumbing trades commonly known as “MEP” and serves the greater Chicago metropolitan area. The company was initially founded as a division of the Midwest Mechanical Construction Co. which discontinued ongoing operations in 2011.
Through the use of in-house union labor combined with strategic partnerships with subcontractors, Midwest MEP can offer a high level of expertise and performance. With Midwest MEP’s knowledge base and trade coordination capabilities the customer has less contracts to write and less oversight concerns.
“The need for a coordinated approach to MEP trades in the construction industry has always existed and with the advent of newer technologies this need is stronger than ever”, says owner/founder Jeff Miller.
“We are a single source for our customer with M-E-P needs. Our knowledge base and trade coordination capabilities can relieve the customer of common mistakes and downtime that typically occur when multiple skilled trades exist of the same job site.”
Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Warranty and Service Work can be handled with a single point of contact. Midwest MEP typically utilizes Sheet metal Locals 73 (Cook County) and 265 (Dupage County), Electrical Local 134 (Cook County), Pipefitters Union 597 and Plumbing Locals 130, 93, and 501.
